Alan Grima will assume the post of Chief Strategy Officer. An eBusiness MBA graduate, Mr Grima will be responsible for information technology, market research, quality and process improvement and internal project management. Mr Grima will focus on ensuring that Dhalia excels in providing the best service standards according to its clients' expectations.
Clive Demicoli has been appointed head of the corporate solutions office in Dhalia's Commercial Division Mr Demicoli will be responsible for the setting up of a focused unit servicing corporate clients and their local and international networks. Mr Demicoli, who holds an MBA from Maastricht University, has over the past years developed extensive management experience and expertise in the real estate sector. He has also managed a number of development projects in the construction industry.
Dhalia's administration and human resources department will be taken over by Patricia Lupi, who has many years of experience in training, human resources and office management. Apart from managing day to day operations at head office, Ms Lupi will be responsible for recruitment, selection, training and development as well as performance management of all Dhalia employees and sales force.
In the finance department, Nicky Camilleri, who has been with Dhalia over four years, has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. A member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, The Malta Institute of Accountants and a Certified Public Accountant, Mr Camilleri will be responsible for the financial control of the company and its associated companies, as well as handle all procurement and contractual relationships. Mr Camilleri will also be responsible for conducting feasibility studies in connection with large-scale developments and provide financial consultancy services for property developments and investments. Mr Camilleri also holds the post of financial controller and has an active role in the coordination of the Balkan Jewel project, Dhalia's premier investment project in Bansko, Bulgaria.
